Chef’s Review: A New Look? & Giveaway

Published by at 8:12 pm under Chef's Review,Headline,The Winning Dish

I’m thinking of getting a new template design for Savings Diner (I have some readability issues with the current one), but I’d like to get the opinions of you, my readers. Please leave a comment telling me what you like, don’t like, would like to see. Some examples are below:

  • Fewer photos, more photos
  • More ads, less ads
  • Blog roll
  • Other topics of interest
  • Twitter posts integrated
  • etc.

¬†I’ll pick one random comment to win a fun, mystery prize pack on Monday night, December 21! Thanks in advance!

    Holley,

This one is a tuffy. I’m so used to the way it is.

I would like to see integrated Twitter or Facebook posts if possible. I just recently saw you had put something on a Facebook post which I might have missed as it was not here on Savings Diner.

I don’t think you have too many ads. In fact I like your ads. It gives me confidence and ideas for products that you may already be familiar or had experience with.

Can never really have too many pictures but I think the quantity is adequate.

Lastly, the categories could be all together. For example, it took me a while to realize that “The Winning Dish” button was under the main new post in the “Browse Categaries” bar. This is why I like to go right to the feed in hopes that I don’t miss anything.

    Love Your Site,
    Sandy

I would like to see the twitter posts intergrated, and a blog roll. I always like photos :)

I like the recent posts section and the twitter box you have now. Ive seen other bloggers have their blog posts show up on facebook but maybe there is a way to also have what you post on facebook show up in a box too like you have for twitter
