Published by HolleyV at 9:20 pm under Chef's Review

Are you looking to buy an new product that you’ve never heard of and want to know what other moms have used it and what they think? Do you want to connect with other women and find out what inspires them? A new site, MomFaves, is just that place!

MomFaves is a great community site where you can register for free and then check out what peoples favorites are from all sorts of categories including Activities, Causes, Deals, Entertainment, Events, Experiences, News, Places, Products, Programs, Recipes, Remedies, Services, and Websites. Once you find one you love, you can “fave it”, too or add a new “fave” to a category.

MESSAGE FROM FOUNDERS

“Dear Guest,

This blog exists to tell the world why moms matter and to share how the moms of MomFaves.com are revolutionizing the way local and Internet recommendations are being shared and discovered by moms.

~ Each of our own moms have had a profound impact on us and also on the life we’ve created for our little family.

We founded MomFaves to preserve the legacy and honor the memory of Norma Unfried (Josh’s mom), a 3rd grade school teacher, advocate for children’s literacy and mother of two who passed away from melanoma cancer in 2004. She loved sharing her favorite things with other women in her community, this was a source of life and joy for her and also for all of her girlfriends.

~ MomFaves reveals what moms love most by making it easy for them to share, vote and find their favorite things.

Moms create their own content and popularize what’s important to them by “faving” or casting their vote. Moms are empowered to submit whatever they want on MomFaves, but it’s up to the MomFaves community to decide what becomes popular and surfaced on the annual Most Faved By Moms List.

~ Our dream is to empower every mom to make another mom’s day, everyday.

Already, a powerful network of moms is building across the U.S. who are actively sharing, voting and discussing their favorite things at MomFaves.com. What they are doing will not go unnoticed. They are creating their own universal brand for moms, a modern mother’s seal of approval behind the things they love most!

~ Get involved, join the cause and spread the word about why moms matter and about what’s happening at MomFaves.

Subscribe to the Blog feed and join the discussion by leaving your comments. This is a place for authentic and open community, where you and your opinion are always welcome.

We look forward to hearing from and sharing life with you on this blog and also at MomFaves.com.

Welcome and enjoy!”

Some of the site features: sorting by popularity, new faves, recently faved, upcoming. If you find that someone has faved similar items, you can “friend” them and see all their favorites by going to their profile page.

Clicking on the upper right MomFaves 2009 logo will take you to a page with the top 10 faves for each category. This is a GREAT way to see what others are interested in and finding new “faves” for yourself!

Check out the MomFaves blog Why Mom Matters for insight into the starting of MomFaves and to follow what events are going on: HERE.

WARNING! MomFaves can become quite addicting and you’ll want to start “fave”ing your favorite items in real time–which appears a little strange to outsiders! LOL
