Cooking with the Chef: Peanut Butter Cookies

Published by at 3:39 pm under Cooking with the Chef

My daughter helped me make these Peanut Butter Cookies last night and they are DEE-licious! When I first looked at the ingredients I couldn’t imagine that this recipe would make very many cookies but we were able to get almost 4 dozen 2 inch cookies!! And they’re very easy to make.

PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES. Recipe from Kaitlyn K. (classmate of my daughter)
1/4 c. butter or margarine
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 egg

Mix in order of ingredients, adding baking soda to flour. Mix well and roll into small marble sized balls. Place on greased cookie sheet and spread by pressing with fork, prior to baking. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 minutes or until golden brown.

Enjoy!
